Kinda like how that one video a few years ago had one male pedestrian get hit by car, (caught by secruity cam) and there was about 7 bystanders, one of them a POLICE officer, and they did nothing.

You can't really say with 100% certainty that you wouldn't do the same.

I don't follow that logic. I can maybe see some ethics being questionable in a way, but forcibly violating and defiling another human being and scarring them is horrendously inexcusable and has no justification.

I've never really been able to differentiate ethics with opinions. I just don't see at all how something can be absolutely correct or incorrect in an ethical sense. I'm really, really hoping this isn't going to start a flame war here.
Two summers ago, I and my friends visited a festival in my hometown.
On our way home, I and my best friend got beat up by a bunch of assholes who were just looking for a fight (5 vs 2 is fair, right?)
One person held me from behind while another one punched me straigth in the face, and he would have kept going if it weren't for my friend who pulled him away. They then proceeded to kick my friend who finally managed to escape and run away.
I had slowly, and not so steady, wobbeled away a short distance in the other direction.
My other friends had already called the police when I realised that my nose was bleeding.
Anyway, stuff happened, I found my friend and we talked to the police.
Months later we got in cort where the attackers didn't remember shit what they were doing that evening.
I got 6000 Swedish Kronor (about 833 USD) for the whole thing. My friend got 10 000 SEK (about 1388 USD).
pop flyin' to share stuff with you. Oh, btw, this pisses me off a great deal.
Spoony raised a good point in a pm, if you want the argue the ethics of the rape justification or otherwise, I just bumped the Taboo Topics thread, hopefully so we have reins on keeping a flame war down, Eris forbid it getsthere.
I've gotten both of my hands broken once in a fight.
It was against 2 people
What makes me so angry is that it was just 2 people. I could've gotten away or put up a fight but noooooooooooooooooooooooooo
My crazy ex-roommate started a fight at a party at our house a few weeks ago.
She was actually sober at the time...
