ACK!!! I was sooooooo freakin close, and then another student was messing with it and DROPPED IT ON THE GROUND, WHERE THE WHOLE BACK FACE OF IT WAS CHIPPED AND CRACKED. So I had to recarve it, and now I have to re-sand it to make it smooth. AUGH.
Today I learned that someone I previously thought was okay is a massive dickhead. Let me tell you how.
Me and a female friend who is, unfortunately, a rape victim (This is important later), usually have debates in our spare time in first hour. Today's topic was Gays in the Military. After a little bit of back and forth, an acquaintance of mine comes up and starts talking about how gays shouldn't be allowed in the military because they're all perverts who are going to do nothing but rape men. This seems pretty dickish, but it gets worse later.
In response, my female friend says that, proportionally, ten times more straight men rape women then gay men rape other men. After this, the dick pulls out the coup de grace of absolute cockheadedness:
Rape is okay if it's a man raping a woman.
I barely resisted the urge to throttle him.
