evolution is a theory, but when you focus on it in a school, and act like that is how we really came to be, it's saying all religions are wrong, so it shouldn't be focused on in schools if it's a matter of faith
There are more proofs to evolution than to the zero proofs of God.Zang wrote:unless i'm wrong, i meant i believe evolution is like, in scientologyHead of The Brothel wrote:scientology is not evolution.

You can see evolution happening at a microscopic level, like when bacteria develop immunity to antibiotics.
And things like mutations, when people are born with additional, or webbed fingers.
Both are examples of evolution in practice, in that if additional or webbed fingers gave that individual an advantage over others, their genes would be more likely to be passed on.
Evolution is not a theory.
I don't know about supreme beings because there's not evidence either way, and I don't want to upset people unnecessarily.
I get rustled off when people think atheists and agnostics are missing out on something or are 'amoral' - that's just plain stupid. I don't need the threat of eternal damnation to be a good person.

I didn't mean that God doesn't exist. I am just saying that evolution got a stronger foundation than Genesis.Head of The Brothel wrote:Bitch you best be trippin'.
I am not going to argue about religion on the internet, so you should take this to the "taboo topics" thread.
Evolution does not disprove God.

please don't insult religions, there are proofs of God everywhere, just look around you. I don't see any real proofs of evolution, but like i said- it's a matter of faith, i believe in God, and i wonder sometimes why others don't- just looking at the sky and at the beautiful world around us...Not not Trygve wrote:There are more proofs to evolution than to the zero proofs of God.Zang wrote:unless i'm wrong, i meant i believe evolution is like, in scientologyHead of The Brothel wrote:scientology is not evolution.

That old chestnut is a favourite isn't it?
Shame that a construct like a pencil (a 'dead' non-dynamic object) is completely different to an organism like a bacteria (a living dynamic object).
But yeah, I'm not going there... this is just retarded.
