I still don't believe. Why would she be the new Lich King? I haven't seen any indication of it.

Apparently
It has something to do with the fact that she used to be, and still is in love with Arthas. And that the Lich King cannot "die" or the scourge will run rampant across Azeroth. And apparently there's a piece of Arthas deep inside that doesn't want to destroy all life on Azeroth, because he totally could if he wanted to without any difficulty. So it becomes a Catch 22. And via the battle with the Lich King where you kill him, the Lich King posses Jaina's body after Arthas dies, and she becomes the Lich Queen.[/spoilers]
