The girl version of Harvest Moon DS has a 'best friends' system, where you get to have a 'best friends' ceremony with another girl.

The english version of that took it out.




Also apparentally Tales of Symphonia was supposed to be really gay but idk.

I had heard HM, at the very least, was translated by NoA, or uh, i forget right now but basically it wouldn't have been translated if it didn't fit NoA's standards of... ethics, or something.


I had heard it from someone who had played the Japanese version, but it was a while ago and the Tales Of series is pretty... niche-y, I guess.

I think NoA has a more quality standard than that translation. Or any HM game translation for that matter. I'm pretty sure it was hastily done by Natsume or Marvelous or something like that.

But yeah I was annoyed that they removed it too. Even though I planned to marry Trent anyways, I was annoyed that all the daisies bigots managed to influence the content of the game.
