Here's a good reason why:

Because guns scare the shit out of me and the longer I can go without using one, the better.

If they started a draft, I'd end up breaking my leg instead of going.

Maybe it should stay 18 because my dad says if you're old enough to die for your country, your old enough to drink.

I don't drink...okay sometimes a glass of wine, call me a pussy............but yeah. I don't know or really care. The draft card is the one thing I knew I was getting for my birthday back in August, and didn't want.

Pretty much, the guy who made this bill wasn't the smartest, instead of specifying what goes in its place he just made it rediculous.

You would have to apply for citizenship and take that test immigrants do.

But it would keep illegal aliens from "anchoring" their kids here so they don't have to leave.

That's why I'm saying it's a toughie. I'm glad they care about thier kids, but at the same time the parents are being selfish.

I think that if you are born in the states to US citizens, you are too.

This prevents anchor babies, and every fucking baby doesn't need to take citizenship tests.
