I know right! I sat alone at lunch in freshman year and some stupid people came up and started to talk to me.

i would read the whole time
they played that game
and sometimes they would steal my book and refuse to let me read it
and they'd make fun of me and how i'd probably come in one day and shoot the whole school up

People did this to me several times as well.
And I was always pegged as the quiet anti-social loner, and I'm really not like that at all, except when I'm around wonderful people like that, and then I'm only being quiet so I don't make fun of them/point out their stupidity.

They did that with me as well, but after a while I think they started actually believing I would actually do it and left me alone. Either that or I scared off the one guy doing it most by eventually snapping a bit and chasing him though the gym trying to beat the crap out of him.
So, turns out that not all the spambots use the "England" location tag and some have slipped past and I hate myself for not catching it so now I gotta sift through all the suspicious looking new members on top of what I already do when a wave of bots come in.

That and sometimes they don't look suspicious at all. One of the ones I missed I would have NEVER seen unless I actually looked and got a hunch and it turned out to be a bot with a sig full of directory links. Sometimes they won't have anything that lets you know they are a SCP at all. Then when you forget about them they put in spamlinks and directories in their sigs and you never know about it. As far as I know they don't even have to post.

I wish there was an easier way to weed out the bots as they signed up. They seem to get past the sign up page rather easily.

I could really go for some more pasta but I can't have any more because I need to save it for another night and I know I won't eat it all so it'd just be a waste
