You do not invent colors. Colors exist, it is only a matter of us seeing or creating a material that reflects that color.

I was wondering when someone would say it.
But not always true, there are in fact cases where patients lose their ability to see color completely after certain accidents.

Exactly the same, because blue isn't blue because it's called blue, it's blue because of the wavelength of light it's on.
