Spent the day in another city, went there right after school to visit my friend's dad, he is in high spirits, but they are giving him a year to a year and a half, with treatments but he isn't sure if he wants the treatments at the moment. After visiting him I met with my friend's family, they were very pop flyin' that we (I came up with a friend, we're both really good friends of her) came up, then we took her around the town to help get her mind off of things.
It was very draining, emotionally, these past couple of days have been.

Ugh, my best friend's girlfriend's (Also a good friend of mine) dad died like a week ago or so, and then he dumped her. So I'm torn between consoling her, and being kinda irritated with my best friend for doing that to her, but also trying to stay out of it because I don't know all the details, and because I haven't been able to talk to my friend since this happened.
Argh.

Ignore your feeling of irritation, it will cause no good, console your friend, and just talk to your other one, if they broke up for a legit reason, it should still be cool even if the timing is bad, if it was unlegit enough, do something about it.Chekt wrote:Ugh, my best friend's girlfriend's (Also a good friend of mine) dad died like a week ago or so, and then he dumped her. I'm just really worried for her and her family because he is their sole provider, they have a chance of losing their house if they don't get another income soon, but that isn't something they're really thinking about at the moment.
On the plus side, when we were leaving, pretty much her whole family was at the hospital having a good time talking to him and cheering each other up, all helping each other out with the situation. It was a nice to see despite the circumstances
