Hey, can't be as bad as the time I somehow managed to make Paul McCartney look like Michael Jackson. :P I'm sure it'll be fine.

I don't understand some of these stupid campaigns I see on Facebook and the like. It's breast cancer awareness month, and naturally the sensible thing to do would be to present people with information regarding this condition.

Of course, why would anyone do that?

Instead all I see are stupid things like "So-and-So likes it on the chair!" Apparently, this is relating to where they "like to keep their purse". Now, what does this even have to do with breast cancer awareness?

You are correct if your answer was "jack shit".

How the hell are you promoting awareness through vague, purposefully lude statements?

Maybe I'm just crazy, and if anyone knows how this actually relates to anything then I'd be grateful.

If anything, I find it offensive that people would go around treating a serious disease in a childish manner like this.

yaaaaay
Oh, was it a charlie horse? I get those when I wake up sometimes.

The best remedy is to walk on it for a while; that helps the muscle relax.

Like how last year it was the color of the bra they were currently wearing?
I dunno, that seemed really stupid to me as well

I found it funny more so than anything. But I agree, when my friend sent me the message, while I giggled at the joke, I also thought "But what does it have to do with Breast Cancer."

And then the end of the message was like "It's time to show how powerful women are!"

By making lewd vague statuses.
Of course.
Makes complete sense
I still did it for the lulz.

I believe by making potentially vague/innuendo filled statements they generate curiosity. Girls see their friends doing it and ask why and they learn or men see all these girls doing it and want to know more so they ask and are told why.

By spreading the word they hope to generate awareness to the cause. It gets stupid and pointless when people don't know why they are doing it or what the cause is for.

It creates attention, especially to a younger demographic that would probably just ignore it.

I mean, if not as many people would pay as much attention to it everyone was all stuck up about it.

I have several "I <3 Boobies" bracelets that I bought to support breast cancer research.

Although I agree that the "I like it X" is really annoying, but I find anything when 100 people do it and it takes up all of my news feed. D:<
Like the "LIKE THIS AND I'LL TELL YOU A SECRET" stuff.
