I already did a full scan with Malwarebytes, and ended up only getting one infected item, which I removed. I don't know if it had anything to do with the fact that I was on safe mode with networking enabled, but I restarted the computer and Antivirus IS was still there. Now I'm on safe mode with networking disabled scanning with MacAfee to see if it notices anything else. If anyone has any tips to share on this situation I would be very grateful.

First result when Googling "Antivirus IS". :colbert:
I tried downloading that but it didn't work, but it never hurts to try again.

It might be a rootkit.

The automatic removal tool is a generic antivirus, I think. Use the manual removal thingie.
To kill the process press Ctrl + Alt + Del, select Task Manager, click on the Processes tab and find the task you want to terminate, then click on End Process.
To delete the registry keys use the run menu (Windows key + R), type regedit and delete what you need to.
To delete the file use the Search function in Windows, I guess.
Then copy-paste the directory listed in your address bar, go up one directory and press Shift + Del while having it selected.

I managed to get both Malwarebytes and Spyware Doctor open on normal mode before Antivirus IS started up, so I'm rescanning and such since Spyware Doctor recommended to not scan during safe mode. I did try to run regedit, but an error message came up and said,
"Application cannot be executed. The file regedit.exe is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?"
I get the same warning message for anything else I try to open, minus internet browsers. Even task manager gets that warning.

Then do it in Safe Mode, or say No.

Is she religious in any way, Oracle?
I know that you're not, but I figured I might see if she was.

Went to make an omelet. We're out of bacon.

Slightly disappointed but a veggie omelet will have to do.

No, she's not even really that spiritual, either.

She's one of those people currently rustled off at religious people right now because of her dad's girlfriend.
