Saw a Finnish translated version of Scott Pilgrim vol.1 in a store's magazine and comics section and was all "aww yeah maybe I can get into this thing now without the inconvenience of waiting for a package from online bookshops"
Then I saw the price was 8, 95€ :|
Decided to leave it be for now and see if it's any cheaper on Amazon/Bookdepository

That's basically the same price it is in america.

Though I guess you could just look up downloads of scans.

8,95€ = 12,20$
Amazon has it up for 3,99£ (4,6€), though the shipping costs add some to that. Bookdepository has free shipping but it's about 7,40€ there, which would save me a whopping 1,55€ :pseudo:

I'm sure I've seen the Scott Pilgrim books going for around £6-7 here.

check to see if there is an e-book version. there's software that lets you see it on your PC.

Speaking of e-books:

Hurr, I managed to buy a NookStudy ebook for mah mac.
Durr, uh-oh, its not compatible with Leopard. Gotta use the cheddar I saved from buying a normal college book to upgrade my f*%&ing computer.
Derp, whoops, now it just corrupts every time I try to download it. Best 60 bucks I ever spent. Ever.

Apparently, people are now trying to work backwards in terms of constitutional rights.

Good going, Justice bro

It's been miserable here all day. Constant raining, and cold enough that I have to wear a jacket indoors.

Also, a quote:
Even worse, while Justice Scalia argues for writing women out of the Constitution, there is another group he has been working hard to write in: corporations. The word "corporation" does not appear in the Constitution, and there is considerable evidence that the founders were worried about corporate influence. But in a landmark ruling earlier this year, Justice Scalia joined a narrow majority in striking down longstanding limits on corporate spending in federal elections, insisting that they violated the First Amendment.

walking into school today my friend grabbed my backpack and yanked me back, which not only startled me, but made a large rip in it

i then asked her "what was that?" "nothing" and i was like "...okay" so we continued walking and talking and then i went to my first period class

HUGE booty RIP
IN MY BOOKBAG

then my other friend was pissing me off again in art class and i got so mad i bent my mechanical pencil thinking it wouldn't break and it did
that was my only good pencil :I
i loved that pencil
