Also, for something that pisses me off, when people use memes they don't understand.

Like for example, I started saying PINGAS in my classroom, and I told it to my two friends, Jason and Austin, and told them where it came from. But now pretty much every other kid in the classroom is saying ti, now! And they don't know where it came from! They're killing it!

People who insist on saying page get at the top of every page, nevermind that there are only 15 posts to a page so it hardly is anything rare.

Even worse when they edit it into their post. It's at least mildly interesting when a person guessed that they were going to do it accurately.

All the fucking forum games. Seriously, this shit's gotta stop. It seems to me like their only purpose is to up your dick size. They require no originality, no creativity, and they're multiplying like hell. How many do we have now, 7? They stifle the traffic in the forums because when they're the only topics being bumped, nobody really feels like posting in the threads with no new posts. When nobody has anything new to say, the topic eventually goes under. It's a vicious cycle because the only way a thread stays alive is through people posting in response to one another. Divert attention from a topic to a forum game, and that topic is as good as dead.

In other words, the excess of forum games is killing the forum. Its mindlessness steals attention away from topics that actually require discourse, thus killing original content. Worthy topics die, while stupid games thrive. It feels almost like /b/: every day is a repost of a repost of a repost.

It's all too easy to take the simple road and give a quick response, but that's not what's good long-term, for anything. Forums, relationships, even leadership. Human beings have complexity and depth, and the moment you get rid of that is the moment that you get rid of anything interesting about them.
