I'm not just referring to anime, but:

Well TTGL isn't that bad, but in English they all sound awkward and look ridiculous, while in Japanese they're just Japanese.

And it's not hard to watch and read at the same time but maybe I just got used to it. It's better than feeling the need to facepalm every five minutes because the characters all sound like whores. Yeah, I'm exaggerating.

But I was more referring to the foreign movies part, because there are tons of excellent ones.
