If you read carefully, they both actually do the same thing. One guy can't win, the other can't lose. :colbert:
actually they dont, the black makes it so you cant win,and the person cant lose

the artifact one makes it so you cant lose, while the other person cant win

they are opposites of each other
Thanks. I was bodaciously sitting there rereading the cards and wondering how they were the same. I'm not going crazy after all.

Only if you combine them, yeah.

They don't do the same thing, though.

No.

One makes it so you can't win and your opponent can't lose, basically screwing you over entirely.

The other makes it so you can't lose and your opponent can't win, ensuring your victory.

Combined, neither can win and neither can lose.

Wait

Do they really have a card that prevents your opponent from winning? That's lame.

I'm just wondering why you would use a card that makes it to you can't win.

Its only a 4/4 for 7 though, so it takes some work to protect. Otherwise it would take much for your opponent to kill it. Ive seen some games end with someone at -40 life.

@Torizo

a 6/6 with Flying and Trample for only 4 is straight up retarded good. If you have a reliable way to sacrafice it or otherwise kill it it can give you a huge edge early game.

Ah, so that effect only lasts while it's still around? Okay, that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up.
