Would have been better without the parentheses in the last panel. They could have just left it out or maybe written a bunch of crazy equations in the background or in his eyes. I've never been too fond of things that should be implied being blatantly out in the front like there, a more tactful way would have been better.
It was funny... I think. They messed up the punch line a tad, because it doesn't seem to really even be there.

I feel like it is poking fun at something we haven't seen.
Like maybe a stupid comment on a site the game was hosted on, or maybe a personal experience.
That's the impression I get, anyway.

I played the game a while ago, it's a freeware game. It's called Burn the Rope. Basically you hop up some ledges and burn a rope and win. Not much to it, to be honest. The comic seemed a little disorganized near the end.

No, I've played the game. It's just that the comic seemed to be poking from at someone's reaction to the game. It seemed to be like it was making fun of someone that had a
very hard time realizing what they were supposed to do.
In the end, I think the answer is that the comic was not very good.
Edit: Also how could you summarize "You Have to Burn the Rope" and not mention the song at the end? Shame on you.

Ah, okay I see what you were saying. It's been a long time since I played it, so I can't remember the song.

actually they dont, the black makes it so
you cant win,and the person cant lose
the artifact one makes it so you cant lose, while the other person cant win
they are opposites of each other
