You can't just uninstall Norton....you have to purge it! Bring a priest and he'll get it out.

They laugh when I call them though.

But yeah, I haven't bothered uninstalling it yet. It's not so bothersome. I'll keep it around until I get to buy McAfee.

YES MA'M! You can get the whip anyway if you'd like~

I already have AVG 9.0 actually. I was running the free trial for the pro edition and I'm gonna install the free version tomorrow again.

I've never heard of Malware bytes though.

Weird, I'm the opposite. I don't have AVG, but I do have Malware Bytes. Malware Bytes is incredible. Get it, Epona.

And yes, get the whip anyway~

I have both programs because AVG will run a daily scan for me when I'm not at home.

Malware Bytes is there for when you KNOW something is wrong. :U

I should get that then. I've also been meaning to uninstall Norton anyway.

Also, what does Webroot do Bacon? I never heard of it.

This. I also use NoScript for Firefox as an added measure after I got a couple of trojans on my hard drive a few months back. I realize that that may be interpreted as me contradicting myself, but I'm not quite sure how they got there as I'm usually quite responsible in my browsing (like not going to strange sites or downloading questionable things). All I know was that it started with one, and that one trojan downloaded a ton of other trojans without my knowledge, and on top of that was a rootkit, which means that it's a pain in the booty to remove.
