I finally made someone laugh. I knew I could be funny sometimes...
But I still like your comic. Looked like a Katie's comic, though. Weird, uh ?

Well yeah, I'm still developing my style - I never really intended to become a webcomic artist, it's kinda something I wandered into half-awake.

I like Katie's style so I'm using it at the moment, but I use a different kind of line style to her (I think her line weight is based on stylus pressure - I use brushes) and my sense of colour is still a little naive.

There are other differences - I use more word art than she does and have different ideas/approaches on how to panel a comic.

I'm sure my own style will gradually evolve into something different than Katie's own.

Of course you do something different. Somehow, you can't have exactly the same. You always give something from yourself.
I also watched your other drawings. They indeed have nothing to do with Katies'. And you draw kinda well, duh ! I was surprised to see that -I'm always easily surprised in front of people who are actually able to draw.
I'm more of a writer than a drawer, so this ability of showing things that easily, of making us understand what you drew, what you represented... it's always kinda astonishing. It's just lines, it's just colours, and yet we see something. we see more than colours. That's kinda great, I think.
So "bravo", as we say in French. Félicitations, t'as trop la classe, épouse-moi.
Oh, and when I said your comic looked like one of Katie's, it was a joke; of course it looked like hers, because you INTENDED to.
