I'm not sure if this is an odd opinion to have, as I'm not aware of the fandom trends for this, but...
I started watching Game Grumps recently, and Danny is my favorite one.

Relatedly, I do not like Game Grumps at all. I find the show surprisingly unfunny considering I used to love Ego's stuff. I've tried to get into it several times too.

Wordy. Dont get me wrong, I love books. I love reading but I like more.. action that description.
...
And frozen was a good movie, but i dont think it was worth all the hype.
I haven't seen the TV series but I can understand what you mean. I read the first book and found it slow but mostly there were too many characters with similar names and it was more like a soap opera with everything going on, so I can see it working better on TV.
I have a similar and more detailed opinion of Frozen but I already aired my griefs in the Movie thread.

Some of their episodes were funny to me, but a lot of times I can't bear to watch because of the HORRIBLE gameplay that happens in most of the episodes.

I agree, I dont get the appeal of the show, its just like a Lets PLay except the people playing suck at it

I only watch when they do a game I like (or when Loli links me one of their videos haha). They played Punch-Out!! Wii pretty efficiently, for instance, so I'm actually looking forward to them doing the second half of the game.

It's less of a Let's play channel and more of a podcast with games as background. Though I admit the series...es where they actually try and do things are usually better. On the contrary, some of their best episodes come from them being awful at something. Like the Pachinko episode of Mario Sunshine.

I like mobile gaming. Obvious all the shit games are shit, but there are some real gems to be found out there. Plenty of excellent ports, like Ghost Trick or the Sonic games, and some honestly very impressive graphics for such a small device. There are games like Sword and Sworcery, which launched on mobile first.
Even a lot of the silly little puzzle games are really polished and interesting.
I hate mobile gaming more by the day. It's a cesspool of the industry's most disgusting business practices and where former proper devs and game series go to become soulless husks to make a quick buck. Every time I see news related to the games industry in my country, it either has to do with Angry Birds, Clash of Clans or smaller companies that exclusively make mobile games in an attempt to earn even a fraction of the profits those two games have seen. I'm thoroughly sick of it.
And touchscreen controls are absolute a
ss.

The biggest problem with touchscreens would be solved if they made them also require actual pressure to register, but no, lightly brushing against something causes 4 keys to be pressed at once.
It's why if I ever end up with a smartphone I'm going for one with a sliding keyboard

I feel similarly about LotR. Only that I couldn't get into it at all, not even the movies.
It's just... the elves and dwarves and orcs and ye olde timey stuff just doesn't do it for me with LotR. Even though I like stuff like that in other formats like Elder Scrolls games.
Almost every episode nowadays

I have very mixed feelings about Game Grumps, and it all has to do with Arin. I tend to like certain series of the show, like Sonic '06 or more recently Shadow of the Colossus. It depends on how Arin decides to behave, though. In the series that I like he tends to sit back and enjoy the game, maybe go on an unrelated tangent for a bit, or in the case of SotC, he's been giving Danny vague hints that he doesn't understand, and it frustrates him, which is pretty funny.
HOWEVER, in series like New Super Mario Bros. Wii or Pokemon FireRed, I can't watch without getting angry, also because of Arin. In those instances, Arin either decides to go on big, mostly unfounded rants about game design(New Super Mario Bros. Wii), or just intentionally be a complete idiot despite having played the game before(Pokemon FireRed). Every time Arin says something like "OH DANG IT'S A PIDGEY YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO", or says that he can't understand why people like Ocarina of Time, I just want him to shut up more than anything in the world.
Also penis jokes get really old really fast.

Can't say I've come across a problem like that with touchscreens over the years.
And you're out of luck, I don't think any company has made a smartphone with a physical keyboard since like, 2012.

Yeah, GG is not nearly as good as TBFP in my opinion. The bad playstyle is something most people bring up, but mostly it's as Turbo said: the dialogue is more about themselves/their jokes than about the game.
They have their occasional good moments, but I watch it more for "Look how dumb these guys are" than "Look how much their thoughts add to the existing game."

They're not so dumb. I mean, Arin's often wrong about video games and they make a lot of dick jokes but that's about it. Even the Best Friends have their dumb moments.
