xD was spammed to death by thirteen year olds, which is why it's now dead to the internetz, much like the lol acronym. I still use it when I text my IRL friends though.

My texts tend to differ based on who I'm texting. If they use lots of smileys, I'll use lots of smileys. If they don't use any, I probably won't use any either.

As for the internet, I don't really think I have a system.

In all seriousness, "XD" has become ingrained into my internet vernacular (if that's the right word), but if it annoys some people on the forum, I'll try to lay off it. I don't want to annoy people... too much.

Also, this may be the wrong place to ask this, but I have a youtube channel on which I post Let's Plays. Would it be okay to post a link to that in my sig?
