Commission I did for Terraem; linked to dA because it's rather fuckhuge.

I'm aware of the mistakes, but what's still a mystery to me is how I managed to make it look as if the bear and the girl are in two different dimensions. Or maybe I'm just imagining things (I doubt that though).

Figured that I might aswell upload the picture I drew for Crush Bandicoot's birthday last year, since I don't like the direction anymore which I wanted to take it.

my concentration portion of my portfolio centers around gods of my own creation, so here's one of them

Guessing he's the god of Hawks, or at least has something to do with birds of prey.

Perhaps of Hunters?

Close!
He's the god of war and strategy, represented by the hawk.

I have like a yearly to biyearly cycle of REALLY like my art, then REALLY hating it. I'm at the hating it stage right now, but instead of making me want to never draw like normal, I want to always draw. Specifically not I'm dissatisfied with my ability to draw older men. I'm not good at it. Lately the gang has started playing Payday 2 again (one of my favourite shooters, so y'know I'm into it,) and I've wanted to draw some fanart/comics of our silly shenanigans but I can't draw dudes that look older than like 25 which is unacceptable when every character in the game is at LEAST 30. SO I've been sketching a lot.

I don't have anything to show as I do all my sketching on paper so I'm not really sure why I'm even posting this

Tatzel and I did a thing. The kindly and virtuous Tatzel provided the line art and I coloured this time.

i spent my weekend on this:

Image

the whole thing started out as "i should make a charm for hoxton's collar with hoxton's mask on it" then spiraled into i wanted one, kyle wanted one, i made one hoxton too big so i'll give it to my brother in law, then i should make tom one as a gift etc etc and i ended up making one of each :T

on the backs of hoxton and chains:

all of wolf's silly names for hoxton that inspired me to name my dog after him, and kyle's favourite chains quote. wish i'd have thought to put stuff on the back of the others but oh well. we don't have a good hoxton quote for our team anyway, and my parents would flip out if they saw "keep drilling you piece of shit" on anything i own haha.

polyshrink! it's plastic sheeting that you draw on then put in the oven and it shrinks/thickens in a few seconds. pretty neat shit. the colours are all sharpies except the gray for shading which are brush tip pens. really fun to make actually - they turn into eldridge horrors before flattening back down when you cook 'em.

unfortunately it seems that the colour isn't as durable as i'd really like - kyle had his on his keyring and some of the ink is already rubbed off. i have mine on my keyring but it doesn't really have any damage but i might put it somewhere else just in case, but i don't know where. hoxton's tag is on his fancy collar so it won't get used very often at all. kind of a bummer but what can you do. on one hand i want to not care that it'll rub off because i can just make another, but on the other hand they take like 30 minutes to draw so i kinda don't want to make another if i don't have to y'know
