Got a new drawing tablet, much better than my last one which broke a few days ago. I guess I tried drawing myself?

Yep, Col. Volton from Roboworld. I can't get enough of that movie lately for some reason.

The area around the head is super messy and smudgy and the general anatomy needs a lot of work. The proportions are wonky. The body is very thin and shapeless, her shoulders are incredibly narrow, and like you said, she's slanting and her pose is very stiff. Her right hand also bothers me because it's in front of her thigh while the rest of her arm seems like it's to the side and there's no bend to indicate her hand coming forward in space.
I recommend basic human anatomy studies for the sketch itself and gesture drawing to help loosen up the stiff pose. And invest in a good eraser.

I decided to try and practice scratch spriting. I ended up with a style that I find eerily reminiscent of Mother 3.
To the left is a middle aged, overweight balding guy. To the right is what I originally conceptualized as a librarian, hence the glasses, but he could be just about anyone that wears a snazzy suit, really.

Those are pretty snazzy, I reckon the little bit of the collar makes suit man look a bit priest like actually.

Ninety percent of most arts’ collections are sitting in the dark, because they don’t have the exhibit space to show them,
