Re: Art Thread
Stupid little entry for the Butt Zine (The Art Zine about butts) thing going on over at Tumblr.

Doubt they'll pick it, but it was worth a shot.

Re: Art Thread
So I got Colors 3D for my 3DS and I did some art things before finally settling on this as my style. Cartoony and lighthearted is how I like to draw because I don't stress about "not doing good" because you can hardly go wrong when drawing like this.
Linked for big.
Me
My Minecraft character
My friend
His Minecraft character
Bonus art of me and my adoptive sister
And yes, Colors 3D saves images REALLY HUGE

Re: Art Thread
You're really good at drawing Kagome

Re: Art Thread

Trying to get the hang of doodling/quick sketching digitally.
Top two took 30 minutes, Serperior took 15 minutes.
I know the top one is really bad (except for maybe the leaves) I just posted them all to show how I improved over the course of an hour.

Re: Art Thread
Too many screens for anyone to know what to critique, Zang; Your progression seems okay to me though.
Side note: that 15 minute Serperior drawing got put into a group on dA.

Re: Art Thread
Double post because new material.
Following on from yesterday's doodles:

Oh jee whiz! Look at that; I somehow managed to 'master' a style in four moves (not really - but I'm getting there).
Froslass took 45 minutes, Serperior side-on took between three and four hours.
Serperior here is probably the closest I've got to envisioning a style I've been trying to pull together for about a year now; Apparently I've just been approaching it all wrong or something. That style (or something like it) is what I want to be using in my comics, ideally.
Hopefully I can keep this style alive during the days I have to work; Work is the biggest thorn in my side because it punches huge giant holes in my creative swing.
Man I wish I didn't have to work.
Fuck work, seriously.

Re: Art Thread
Your art looks a lot better drawn naturally, I always thought your stuff looked a bit too digital
anyway dis one goes out 2 my man amy no aka
(aka means red)
(like the drawing)

Don't worry it's just red paint.

Yeah, I think I've too often killed a piece by tidying it up too much.Head of The Brothel wrote:Your art looks a lot better drawn naturally, I always thought your stuff looked a bit too digital
Hopefully I can hang loose for a bit longer and get this style nailed down.
