AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I learned how to play the recorder when I was in elementary school, but a) that's been way too long and b) it's not exactly a difficult instrument. Like Board said, what I planned on doing was simply going by ear what sounds good to me. I know musical equipment is expensive, but I don't want to make high quality productions which you'd hear in the highest selling games or movies. For now I really just want to play around a bit and see if I can pick anything up, something like MS Paint simpleness (I know you can't compare drawing to making music but it's just for the sake of an analogy).

The Fruity Loops Studio demo is pretty good. It's free and is pretty much exactly like the full program except you have to finish songs all in one go, you can't save them and pick them up again later.

Only criticism I have about that is that the hair color is a little too close to the skin color and it makes it look sorta weird to me? Kinda blends in and makes it look like her head is weirdly shaped at first glance.

Otherwise it's super cute and I love the clothing colors

Yeah, I'll probably shift her skin tone soon, especially since her in-game tan will fade once it gets into fall anyway, but for the most part I've been trying to stick to what she looks like in game. I see what you're saying though, and I totally see it too. Maybe I'll try out a different shade of PANK for her hair instead of changing her skin? It's not like people don't get tanned in winter, too, haha. Yeah, I'll play around with her colors a little and see if there's a way to make it less blendy.
