Oh hey actually, maybe it's a sidewalk now that I look again. At first the white line looked like the marking on a parking space, but now I'm noticing that it looks like the gap between two stone slabs, like a sidewalk, with packed-in snow or mortar.

Well, I don't know if this is good enough to go in the ~Art Thread~, but:

I, on my tumblr, wrote:I prefer the doodle’s result to the one I tried harder on… though clearly the top example is a WIP, and if/when I continue it the first thing I’m gonna change is the eyes, they look off. Also the doodle one has irises.

So is it just me, or does the doodle look better?

Someone on another forum requested I draw a headshot of Angus the horse from Brave.

I made his eye too big, oops. It was my first serious experiment in paint tool sai. What do you guys think?

...I see your point. Though the 'proper' one will probably ne more re-doing if it's the same quality as a quickie. Thanks for the feedback, anyway~ The doodle might also be improved at some stage, I really prefer it haha

@ Cori: That's really good, but I disagree with your comment about the eye, it's well drawn but I can't help thinking it's too /small/, horses and boners have large, buggy eyes (not to the extent of MLP, but they're round and stick out a fair amount). And this might be just me, but the mouth dosn't look like it's been shaped to accomodate the bit. Still, everything else is quite realistic~
