I hold my pencil sort of like that. I rest it again my middle finger.

I've developed a spot on my middle finger that's slightly rougher and harder than the rest of my hand from the constant pressure I'd apply to it when holding a pencil.

It's the most comfortable way to draw.

The downside is, it makes your handwriting sloppy as shit.

I was always complimented on my clean handwriting.

However, despite being right-handed, I smear EVERYTHING as though I was left-handed.

I don't even know how I do it. If I had a lot of writing to do, by the end of the day, the edge of my hand was black with smeared graphite.

Yeah, I have a callous on the fourth finger of my left hand because I write and draw so much.
I always smudge the page when I write. This other lefty told me to use my little finger to hold my hand off of the page, but it's too uncomfortable.

even if you have lefty or righty pride, your brain is like "Fuck that" because the opposite half of the brain controls either side.

So if you're a lefty, your right-brain is the one calling the shots.
Righty, left-brain.

So there you go.

Lefties are better at some sports, because they use both sides of their brain to play them.

That's exactly why lefties are said to be more creative. The right side of the brain is the side that focuses on the artistic things, like drawing and music. The left side of the brain dominates the logistical way of thinking, so people who are left-brained tend to lean towards academic things.
