Hey guys, I have a question about GIMP. Yeah, I know "lolgimp" but I don't really have any other options.
Is there a way to make my lines look smoother, or is it just a technique thing? I try zooming in and keep my hand as steady as possible, but they still end up looking like my hands shook all over the place.
Okay, quick explanation- The magic in Zang's world comes from using willpower. The stronger your willpower, the stronger your magic. There are different elements people are specialized in, fire, water ect. Zang's will is his own, since he isn't under any kind of control or possesion.

It looks like you had a lot of trouble drawing his bent arm - some of the scribbly lines are appearing again in those spots, and I'm not refering to the shading. Most obviously is the random line on his shoulder.
Ctrl+Z should help with small mistakes like that. Do you do any kind of sketch in a different colour before you start using black lines, or do you just go straight to black?
