Don't feed me that. A lot of (if not all of) professional artists will also immediately follow up with "But it's just my opinion. There is no right or wrong method to drawing".Tall-Hatted Yanimae wrote:Protip Decker: A lot of suggestions I've heard from professional artists is to try starting off traditionally on paper before trying out digital if you are a beginner so geez, I certainly apologize for taking advice from people who have been in the game longer then you and me combined.

I agree with this statement but we're only suggesting that as there usually is a more connected feeling with a pencil and something you're drawing on that you can actually rest your hand on rather than a screen. We're telling him to at least TRY this method out if he's interested in different ways to improve.Decker wrote: "But it's just my opinion. There is no right or wrong method to drawing".
Really Decker, was there any reason to show so much hostility in your post when you disagreed with what we said? You could have said it in a much more civilized manner instead telling us to shut up and calling us ignorant AND saying we know nothing about it. That's really the only reason why I was rustled at what you had to say.
Calm down and don't get all defensive like that just because you prefer digital over traditional. I personally don't prefer either over each other because I work well with both mediums and I like them.
And Zang, that's looking better. Good job so far.
