I tend to use average sized characters so I can deal decent damage while still remaining agile enough for devastating combos involving good running speeds and jumping quick.

Marth: UpSmash (while running), Jump - Air UpSmash, Air DownSmash, Ground - Side Smash or SideSpecial. Gets quite a bit plus if I get the enemy in the air for awhile ,I can rack up more damae than usual. Don't forget to use your other aerials for spacing and your down tilt for quick & safe attacks....
