Re: Funny Picture Thread
Well now, I don't normally post in this thread, as I don't tend to find a lot of objectively funny pictures elsewhere, but since Spoony had to go and post Boston and Shaun fan comics, I might as well make sure nobody's... missing out, shall we say. http://pics.bostonandshaun.com/main.php?g2_view=co...

Pretty cool, those experiments didn't look too healthy though. It'll be interesting to see how this technology develops.

I am sad to see it gone as well. How do I put this, they were kind of like a bastion of free speech. Nothing was sacred.

Re: Advice Thread
About your concerns for your hands, I'd suggest seeing some kind of doctor for it, if you van spare the cash of course. You could also try and find another job which isn't as physically tasking.

Re: Modesty aside
I have a 4 cm scar right under my lip from a snowboarding accident. I have 2 4 by 2 cm scars, each on one elbow, from one or two biking accidents, I can't even remember. I have a 1 cm scar on my belly from a wrestling accident. My knees are just a giant mess. The tendons in my ankles are completely ...

Re: BLOOD BOWL
Too much effort. No, you're right, but I have to be interested in the game before doing all that and use reviews and game play videos for a general idea what the game is like.

But, to assign a value to something, even a subjective one, you need to have some sort of reference. So, what is your reference? I'd guess it probably is what your education, surroundings and culture tells you.

But, how do you judge an other person's motives if you can't compare them to your own?

Re: Bluntly discuss what you think of fellow forumites!
Judging on someone's motives is probably the best way to determine if someone is "good" or "evil", yeah. But, tbh, I find it difficult to discern my own motives from time to time. I usually try to help people as well as I can, but am I doing this because I enjoy helping people? Because I want to see...

Re: Bluntly discuss what you think of fellow forumites!
You're unable to define yourself? You're anonymous? Unable to define completely yes. How can you define something as complex as a human being in a few words? I've got a decent idea of who I am, how other people regard me and what I want, but I wouldn't be so bold as to say I could define my entire ...

I'll tell you as soon as I find the answer to that, but I wouldn't hold your breath. Then, how do you define yourself?
