Re: zombie apocalypse thread
Would they bleed? There is no realistic scenario in which they wouldn't bleed. Fictionally realistic, maybe. Just pointing that out, other than that, I agree. So the only difference in combat with these L4D kind of zombies is that they can run as fast as a human and are also more vulnerable due to ...

Re: General Game Gabbin'
I am excite (as long as it's better than 4). 17 years though...does that mean that the characters are actually gonna age and some of the old ones won't be returning? I mean Talim has been 15 for at least 10 years now. The SC plot is too convoluted for me, but wasn't Raphael a vampire or something a...

Re: Corrupt a Wish
Granted, the world falls apart because noone has the brains to do anything right anymore. Doctors, lawyers they all just fuck around, pretending to know what they're doing.
I wish people wouldn't wish for wishes that are flawed enough on their own.

I didn't know the band, but I remember hearing parts of the song in mixes played by DJ's at partys.Le Great Handsome Oppressor wrote: I thought I was the only one that knew of that band

Re: Science is interesting
So inbreeding isn't *always* bad. That's interesting, but I still think the downsides outweigh the benefits in a natural evolutional process. It has some application in controlled breeding apparently. I'm trying to argue that inbreeding - with all the recessive alleles and gene duplicates flying ar...

Re: Science is interesting
Kinda like excessive mutations, huh? You're arguing against the likelihood of inbreeding causing mutations with a comment saying that inbreeding causes more frequent mutations. Self-contradiction; If I was in a courtroom I would shout OBJECTION! Recombination of genes causing two homozygote recessi...

Re: Science is interesting
I don't think interbreeding can trigger something as drastic as adding another chromosome. Inbreeding is bad because every creature carries a bunch of recessive genes that can cause malfunctions and diseases. If they breed with creatures with similar genes(relatives) this increases the likelihood th...
