Re: zombie apocalypse thread
The most accepted way of transmittance is by being bitten/wounded right? So the cause has to be directly injected into the bloodstream. One thing that has made me wonder though is: don't most zombie victims get torn to shreds? That would reduce the rate at which the horde grows drastically.

Re: zombie apocalypse thread
Good idea Mander, a fungus symbiosis could imply an autosomal zombie. I still think they'd need some feeding though, else the symbiosis is useless. You don't have to fear for plants growing out of them though, plants are in a different kingdom then fungi. Giant mushrooms perhaps, but those are hardl...

Re: The Current Events Thread
The link to the original research is proving to be more interesting, reading through it now.
Edit: Ok, this seems pretty sound. They haven't tested it on human cancer cells yet though, unlike the first article says.

Re: The Current Events Thread
Can anyone provide another source that doesn't think mitochondria are cells? Regardless, very interesting. If this is true, it will eventually be widely available whether the big companies cooperate or not. In fact, this might be the ideal opportunity to refresh the market, when smaller companies ca...

Re: Favorite Video Game characters

Joshua from TWEWY is the first that springs to mind. Also, I DID NOT need to see rule 34 involving him and Mr. H.

Re: General Game Gabbin'
I'm not saying brown and gritty is necessarily bad, I'm saying it's not interesting to see dozens of games like that.

Re: zombie apocalypse thread
I guess a massive outbreak in multiple major cities would cause problems. Luckily for us, there's no realistic scenario where they wouldn't have to feed though

Re: General Game Gabbin'
See, that's the problem with a lot of games, they all try to appeal to the same as wide as possible audience. And then you end up with dozens of brown, gritty games.Maybe more people would like it if it was less cartoony.

Re: General Game Gabbin'
The problem isn't that they sell shit games, the problem is they sell the same uninspired game multiple times, because they know it will sell well. The problem lies with the consumers actually. I mean CoD was good, but why buy it three times?

Re: General Game Gabbin'
Yes, but cheddar is naturally what motivates developers and I personally would like to see developers with original ideas and respect for their consumers rewarded.

Re: zombie apocalypse thread
Wait, are you seriously saying humanity is fucked no matter what in case of a zombie outbreak? If not, I'm sorry for misinterpreting, I had to ask.
Also we were assuming they had to feed because someone brought it up.
