Re: Taboo Topics (Heavily moderated)

Not everyone would stop buying from whoever they were buying before, sure. But people tend to do what is more convenient to them. And that would be getting their pot while getting their groceries for the week. I was in Holland for a week once. You can get that stuff bodaciously on every other street...

Re: Taboo Topics (Heavily moderated)

Yeah, that was just the first thing I thought of. But I know what you are talking about. People often buy lots of cigarettes abroad where they are cheaper and try to get them back to our country without paying the taxes for importing them.

Re: Taboo Topics (Heavily moderated)

Of course there would be people like that. But that can't really be helped, can it? There are also people who never bought a CD in their life and yet have hard drives full of music. That's not really a reason to not legalize it in my opinion.

Re: Taboo Topics (Heavily moderated)

I'm just saying that someone who could get the stuff at a 7/11 or whatever shops you got in America wouldn't really have a reason to put in the effort of planting, growing, harvesting and drying marijuana. Would you do it? Would you rather plant the seeds, wait for them to grow etc. or just go outsi...

Re: Taboo Topics (Heavily moderated)

There is nothing stopping you from making your own alcohol/ growing tobacco, either. Only most people don't do it, because it is much simpler and faster to just buy the stuff in a shop, especially since it is perfectly legal to do so.

Re: Taboo Topics (Heavily moderated)

Not necessarily. If it was legalized you could soon buy the stuff in pretty much every super market. No need to buy from criminal organizations or drug cartels anymore -> they make less cheddar from it.

So, why is there a moon in the corner that changes between full moon and the other moon phases? I played for a few hours now and have no idea.

Re: General Game Gabbin'

Ah great, I wanted to start playing Fable 2 today and what do I do instead? Download Persona. Analog doesn't work for me either but that could be because the game doesn't support it. Oh my god, the black person. He looks so goofy. http://gameosaurus.com/roahr/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Persona-mark....

Re: All topics unimportant enough to not create a thread for

I have no problem with characters suffering through worst-case-scenarios. Those worst-case-scenarios have to be believable, though. It just isn't that believable if someone runs into one shocking experience after another as if he was attracting it like a magnet. Good things happening can also make s...

Really? daisies. I got it many years ago before I even had internet, so I wouldn't know that it's on steam and stuff. I just assumed since I never heard anyone talking about the game outside of German forums.
