Re: Confessions

Never even had anything except a reluctant sip of wine twice a year to make my parents stop pestering me about the need to have alcohol because otherwise it's not Christmas. I didn't play the drinking game at that party this summer (but I gave advice to the guy sitting next to me about how to make h...

He also said it's important to kill the target instantly, as a chase (or even a scare) will fill the animal's muscles with the by-products of adrenaline, which is supposedly the most common way to get meat that tastes "gamey." I don't know what adrenaline tastes like but he might have been talking ...

Re: What makes you pop flyin'?

Nice evening with family on my father's side, and this time I could correctly identify all of my cousins, but the most important thing is that there were seventeen kittens, all between 2 and 7 weeks old, and that I got to play with them.

Re: The Legend of Zelda

I don't know. Maybe it was like they did with the CDi games; they gave them a few characters and elements to use and told them to come up with their own stuff as needed. If I'm not mistaken, nothing introduced in the Oracles or Minish Cap, be it characters, locations or mechanics, is ever referenced...

Re: The Legend of Zelda

Maybe Nintendo doesn't own the rights to original characters from Minish Cap and the Oracles, since those games were made by other studios.

How about not putting the world's biggest producers of weapons in charge of maintaining peace and security
Especially those that have a history of engineering conflicts for their own interest

Oh no my classmates found me at a bus stop on Google Streetview
I had completely forgotten about that. Judging on the textbook I'm holding on the picture it was three years ago already.

Re: All topics unimportant enough to not create a thread for

Summer is over and my gas tank is still almost half full, and the one time I went to that party there were cobwebs across the doorway. How long does it usually take for official basement dweller cards to be delivered?

Re: Things that make you sad.

I had the exact same thoughts (all of them) through 2013 after I dropped out of uni for the second time. As long as you keep going forward, it can only get better. I got my first job that summer. It sucked, but I got some experience and I learned a lot and I met a good friend. When I went back to co...

Re: Other WebComics

Finished reading the original CAD. Thoughts: It's really not as bad as some people make it out to be. It's terrible, but not an abomination. People give it flack for trying to inject drama with the infamous miscarriage thing, but there were serious (well, relatively) storylines years before that, so...

Re: Things that piss you off

Moving to my sister's old bedroom was actually an improvement. The mattress is super hard, but at least it's even and not filled with mold, and since it's not a futon I have room for my legs, which is a nice first for me. Though the bed is too high for the chair I put my laptop on so it makes it unc...

Re: Super Smash Bros

After my Wii was stolen (twice) along with my GC controller and all of my games, I was reduced to playing Brawl with the Wiimote because I didn't want to bother finding a GC controller just to have it stolen again. It really sucks at first but it gets better. I left the MotionPlus and the jacket on ...
