I'm waiting for my new laptop to be delivered and what I miss the most is being able to browse from my bed. My father's desk chair is at least twenty years old and weathered and has never been comfortable in the first place.
I need to wait until the 5th and it feels like an eternity.

Re: Things that piss you off
Yesterday my father bought himself a notebook (with Win8 and omg how is it possible to be worse than OSX) and I tried to help him setting it up by installing the same browser he uses on his desktop and then making him create an account to sync his bookmarks and stuff (because he can't operate withou...

Today I had to to speak English over the phone to an Indian customer service guy and it went smoothly. I'm surprised because I'm bad at speaking, period, it's even worse when it's over the phone and I hadn't really spoken English seriously for over a year.

Your style reminds me of Polish artists such as Mateusz Skutnik. But maybe that's just the medium.

Re: Tech help general
The same thing happened to me when I installed Katie's font too. I don't quite remember what I did to fix it but here's what I probably tried: (Assuming you're using Windows 7) Right-click on your desktop -> Customize -> Window color (second choice at the bottom) -> Advanced settings (at the bottom)...

Re: All topics unimportant enough to not create a thread for
Two weeks ago I asked my sister if she knew when I could go pick up some textbooks I left at my mother's house without her being there and she didn't really want to answer because she wanted to force me to meet with my mother. She eventually told her about it and my mother personally contacted me (!...

Re: RSS feed ain't right
It's a file created to contain website updates like blog posts and new articles and stuff. Every time the site releases something, it's added to the RSS feed, so subscribers get notified about it. It's super convenient to keep in touch with webcomics and blogs and news because you don't have to reme...

Re: Tech help general
Thanks. This one looks interesting. What do you guys think? I don't need something super powerful but I still want to be able to have multiple tasks running at the same time without worrying. Also I want to try dual-booting OpenSUSE and Windows (which is why I picked an Nvidia graphics card). That o...

I'm looking for a new laptop. What websites do you guys trust? Ideally it would ship from somewhere around Quebec. Right now I've browsed Dell and Newegg but I don't know. Are there brands to avoid (other than Apple) or websites I should not trust?

Re: What makes you pop flyin'?
-Summer job is over and I did not get killed or crippled -I told a coworker I was sure I was incompetent and he swore I'm not -I only have 19 hours of class a week next semester and they're all scheduled conveniently and I only have to eat at school once a week and to wake up early-ish twice a week....
