My father yelled at me because I noticed that my fork was not clean. He doesn't give a fuck about hygiene and clean dishes and utensils because he has terrible eyesight and I don't think he even tastes stuff properly, so I often find all sort of crap on forks and plates and I never blame him for it ...

Was the train one really a shortcut? The few times I tried I thought it was longer than the regular road. You could also skip 80% of Wario's track by jumping over the wall at the beginning.
