At the moment there is a 5% federal tax and 7% Provincial tax on goods and services in british columbia. If the HST repeal succeeds this july it will go down to 10%.

oh and 86% of the energy generated in the province is Hydroelectric, which is pretty cool.

Stop arresting people for minor drugs like marijuana at least. I would say decriminalize all drugs too as long as you maintain the education part of the war on drugs.

Corporations already outsource so I don't see how that would make any difference what the tax rate is to them.

Haha, all states complain about their own taxes. Fortunately, Washington hasn't implemented an income tax yet. Only an 8.1% sales tax.
