There's only one stronghold per map, so it will be hard to find. I love the abandoned mines and ravines. One thing that bugged me about minecraft was the caves were just tunnels, so setting up a mine station was kind of useless, but now, I have a giant ravine and an abandon mineshaft merged together, and making a mine cart system will be extremely helpful now.
