Re: ANIMUKAWAIIDESUNEEE~

Arakawa's making a new (weekly!) manga soon. I am excite It looks like a cooking manga. Now I'm torn between wanting to see how it is and remembering the insanity Yakitake did a swan dive into after the first arc or so. Actually, the cooking manga is not her new series; it's just another series tha...

Re: ANIMUKAWAIIDESUNEEE~

So apparently SyFy is airing Chrono Crusade now. That crappy anime can be on TV, yet no one will re-license the much better manga it was "based off of"? :colbert: (the anime was pretty much an "in-name-only" adaptation) Granted, I already have the whole manga in English, but that's ADV's release of ...

Re: The Big Cockfighting Society Thread of Horror

But isn't that only in the games? I figured that since the anime seems to run on it's own logic, Trainer IDs weren't really relevant, or even existed. Do they exist? :psyduck: I don't remember Trainer IDs being brought up in the show. ...and I've managed to use Psyduck in my posts three times in a r...

Re: The Big Cockfighting Society Thread of Horror

Yeah, I remember watching that movie around the time it came out and being a bit surprised at Charizard being nice. Although, by that time I wasn't watching the animu very much anymore so that's probably why I was all :psyduck:

Re: The Big Cockfighting Society Thread of Horror

I figured that too, but the fact that Ash saved it's life and it turns around and treats him like crap frustrated me so much because it still made no sense.
Oh well.
It eventually stopped being a jerk though, right? I can't remember. :psyduck: I haven't watched the old episodes in forever.

That bothered me so much as a kid.
Hell, it still bothers me. What was the point of his Charmander becoming an asshole when it evolved?

Re: All topics unimportant enough to not create a thread for

My laptop's resolution is 1600x900, and (I think) it's a 14 inch widescreen.

Finding desktop wallpapers for mine is a pain in the booty. It's a miracle if I can find a picture that won't be blurry as hell when I set it to my background.

Re: ANIMUKAWAIIDESUNEEE~

I still have no idea how they thought the ending of the first series was a good idea. "Alchemy is powered by dead people from the real world Now Ed's dead Now Al's dead Now neither are dead but one has amnesia and the other is in Germany now an entire movie about fucking magnets Nazis now they're s...

Holy shit I used to love those things. :'D
Are they even made anymore? All the ones I have are from the mid-90's and I don't think I've seen any made after.

Re: The Legend of Zelda

Is it sad that the game that started me in LoZ was Wind Waker? Wind Waker was my first Zelda game too. It was the first one I owned and completed. The first Zelda game I ever saw though, was the first two on the NES (I count both because I don't remember which one I saw first). Since I was only thr...

Re: Lost and Found

And it applies to anything internet based that you've lost track of. Ah, then I've got one. (although it's pretty daisies obscure, but might as well give it a shot) A few months ago I came across clips on Youtube from a live-action Black Jack (by Osamu Tezuka) TV series from I believe either the la...
