Re: General Game Gabbin'

Yeah, if I recall correctly someone made a basic computer system in Minecraft using the redstone. Don't have the link on hand right now, but it's pretty interesting.

Re: Western Cartoons/Comics

Superman TAS is on the Hub right now. It's the episode with Lobo gets paid to capture Supes. I forgot how great Lobo's theme was in this. The thrashing guitar really suits him.

Re: Western Cartoons/Comics

DnD, you are not alone. Tons of other people on the Internet (menicluded) hate that show. You should watch Spectacular Spider-Man instead. Jeph Loeb didn't touch that and therefore it didn't turn to shit. Also, the upcoming episode of Transformers Prime looks good. I really want to see Silas fight a...

Re: General Game Gabbin'

And the music is fucking great. The area of Phendrana drifts where you get the Gravity Suit probably has the best track. Then Torvus Bog (despite being utter hell, gameplay-wise) in Echoes has some good tracks as well. Haven't gotten much farther than Torvus, so I don't know about anywhere else.

Another LPer that I like is The Dark Id. He does screenshot Let's Plays supplemented by youtube videos. You can find most of his stuff on the Let's Play Archive.

Re: Anime

Eureka 7 is great. Holland is probably the best character ever. It's also hilarious that Renton's dad is named Adroc, so whenever they say his name I'm reminded of the Beastie Boys.

Re: General Game Gabbin'

I'm working on beating Metroid Prime 1 and 2. I have all of the power-ups I need in Prime 1, and I just need to focus on grabbing all of the Chozo artifacts. I decided to take a break from Prime 1 and start up Prime 2. So much stuff in Prime 2 has been polished and refined. My favorite refinement is...

Re: Taboo Topics (Heavily moderated)

The way I see it, normal indicates what is considered to be the societal norm, which is something that people accept as regularly occurring in society. The average individual does not interact with openly trans people regularly in everyday life, ergo trans individuals are not the societal norm. I do...

They're using all of the cheddar they would use for CS:GO console patches and using them for hats in DOTA 2.

Re: Taboo Topics (Heavily moderated)

I agree with Dire. It is still quite detrimental to the goal of equality if you do not treat someone the way you want to be treated, lessened effect on the majority be damned.
