Re: The Current Events Thread

How does an uneducated person's vote actually matter if they don't know what the person they're voting for is supporting? What's the difference between allowing people to submit a blank ballot and just making voting voluntary? It's like, "I don't like either candidates, why is the government wasting...

Re: The Current Events Thread

Vote Duty is a very bad idea, in my opinion. Even if you can submit a blank ballot, you could still possibly have a large amount of people who don't know anything about the candidates just casting their vote so they don't get fined. The chances of this happening are even worse in Australia, which ha...

Re: General Game Gabbin'

Well this is most interesting. I remember a lot of people calling bullshit on this article. It seems more like he's slamming his fellow Americans and calling them stupid, vain, uneducated about history, and possessing the attention span of a small fish. -About how a designer "needs to think like Ge...

Ah I see. Not as bad as I thought it was, but that would still be dumb.

Re: All topics unimportant enough to not create a thread for

What makes me feel weird is that since I hardly ever get sick which means that I'm most likely a carrier, so oftentimes I may spread a disease to a person and I don't even know it. So I'm like a walking bio-hazard.

I hope so as well. He's usually a good orator, but I guess stress gets the best of everyone.

Re: Hurrah, A MLP Thread!

It probably won't be as bad as you think. The current showrunner, Meghan McCarthy is (Judging by a quick Google Search) an award-winning children's book author. So hopefully she will put the actual intended demographic first and then make the other fans more of a tertiary concern.

Re: The Halo Section

I think that's why they gave all the Spartans sprint by default. Remember when Master Chief ran like hell towards the firing room alongside The Arbiter in Halo 3? Without the armor ability?

I don't know how I so often avoid the flu. I think every flu season I may be one of the carriers.

Are you joking? I honestly can't tell. You're saying that they would have to make 500 posts before they could post?

Re: Too Late to Report the Bot

But that would just mean that they would post in regular threads. Captchas work at preventing a large amount of spambots from getting into the forum in the first place.
