Re: The Current Events Thread

I can understand that what Mandy Caruso went through was a hurtful experience, but she still willingly dressed up as a character that is well-known for their sex appeal. Let's think about it this way: Mandy Caruso is a fashion designer. That, in all likelihood, means that she knows what catches a pe...

Yeah, but compared to other RS episodes that was pretty good.

Re: The Current Events Thread

But Batman is not known for being a sex symbol. Black Cat, on the other hand, is well known for bringing fan-service to the male readers of the Spider-Man series. That's the point I'm making here; if an individual dresses up as a fictional character that is often portrayed as a sex symbol attractive...

Re: General Game Gabbin'

I don't see much of a problem with this. origin was a rather invasive system on computers, yeah, but a Console doesn't contain quite the breadth of personal information that a PC does. The ToS of Origin on the WiiU includes By signing up to play EA’s titles, you agree that limited user account info...

Re: The Current Events Thread

It still makes no sense to me that she dressed up as a comic book character well-known for being a sex symbol and did not expect to be treated as such at a comic book convention well-known for playing host to a slew of male-dominated hobbies. I understand that making crude remarks like that is wrong...

Re: The Current Events Thread

I just don't understand Mandy Caruso's logic. What did she think would happen if she went to a comic book convention dressed as a scantily clad female comic book character?

Re: General Game Gabbin'

So EA's updated privacy policy revealed that you will have to use Nintendo Network IDs to play Nintendo games. That sounds cool, but the bad news is that you will also need an Origin account to play EA's online games on the WiiU. So Nintendo is essentially allowing EA to put their Origin online sys...

Re: The Current Events Thread

I know that the crude comments and such are wrong, but why is it sexual harassment for men, who are biologically attracted to women, to simply stare at a woman who is dressed in a provocative outfit? This reminds me of when Simon Pegg was slammed for making a joke about a group of Leia cosplayers. C...

Re: The Current Events Thread

Fashion Designer Mandy Caruso dressed as Black Cat for Comic-Con and complains about sexual harassment.

I don't understand. If she did not want people ogling her and making crude comments, then why did she dress up as a scantily-clad superhero in the first place?

Re: Gravity Falls - Pick-A-Me Mabel!

I am playing Deadly Premonition right now, and I just thought of how Francis York Morgan (Call him York, everyone does) would handle Gravity Falls. He would probably be right at home.
