Re: General Game Gabbin'

Nintendo seems to have a history of screwing up the simplest things for no apparent reason. This. Nintendo does awesome stuff, but the way they sometimes ignore the most basic of things that would make their consoles and handhelds awesome. One of the more recent examples I can think of that doesn't...

Re: Taboo Topics (Heavily moderated)

So Jezebel placed teenagers' names publicly along with racist tweets regarding the President. Forbes published an article regarding this, and one commenter on Forbes wrote this out, and I think they make a good point: But you are assuming that someone hacking an account – or, perhaps, a friend havi...

Re: So, that Deadpool game...

High Moon Studios made Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, which was pretty solid throughout. I trust them with this.

Re: Wii U: Nintendo's Next Console

So essentially it has a bunch of social features that people knock other consoles for using, but they just use the Nintendo Network IDs instead of social networks like Facebook and Twitter?

Re: The Halo Section

Spartan Ops is getting good. Dr. Halsey is in the story now, and having heavy firefights on Multiplayer maps like Valhalla and Complex is daisies good fun. Also, on one mission I saw that the Scorpion now ejects a huge-ass shell casing after each shot, and the actual shell flies in an arc. Those are...

Did they actually say that?

And even if that is true, Meelo's fartbending and comic relief feel like they come from some manner of cheesy PG family movie than any Eastern ideals of youth that I've ever heard of.

Awesome? What did you think of Dallas? I enjoyed it. The character interactions were pretty great.

Well I can blame them for going several levels down the scale of comedy when they've proven that they can do a lot better than toilet humor. Sure there was some in AtLA, but from what I can recall it was never in the middle of a bloody fight scene.

Re: The Legend of Korra, because it deserves its own thread

I just remembered another thing about Season one of LoK that was utterly horrible: Meelo. Two grown adults thought that a fart bending child who rustled in fountains was a good decision for a comic relief character when their previous series had comic relief characters like Toph and Sokka who were i...

I never got to read the last half of Apocalypse Suite because my copy was damaged. Its a daisies shame.
10 bucks new on Amazon, and Dallas is 5 bucks new there as well.
