Re: Dawn of the First Day
So he was super, super-good at his job and the whole Persephone thing was his only major transgression. On the mythological scale, being responsible for killing off all the plants and trees and super-cold weather for six whole months just because you got lonely is pretty big, even if he did have a g...

Re: Trade Hatress 2
I'm just waiting for them to release some kind of "Classic Pack" that just contains all of the original TF2 skins and weapons, entirely unmodified, and then watch as people trade and buy there way back to vanilla TF2.

Re: General Game Gabbin'
So from what I've read/heard/watched, Dead Space 3 will feature co-op where the second character will drop out of existence if your co-op friend leaves, or just not be there if you're playing solo.
If that's true, then that makes it instantly better than Resident Evil 6.

Re: A Thread?! METAL GEAR?!
I just thought about something; what if, in Ground Zeroes, we get to meet Frank Jaeger in his normal human form? Y'know, before he fought Snake bare-handed in a minefield, died, and was brought back as Grey Fox? We did get to see Kazuhira before he became Master Miller, so maybe we'll see Jaeger thi...

I like Ska. My favorite kind of ska is where it's upbeat and has bugles in it. The song The Impression That I Get is a good example. Those kinds of songs always make me feel optimistic/pop flyin' for some reason.

I think that Konami/KojiPro is still butthurt about their failure with Rising, so they're just lashing out at people who mock them.

Re: General Game Gabbin'
They didn't even do an "Is Devil May Cry one of your favorite series" questions for their survey. They know that people hate them for what they did.

Re: Favorite YouTube LPers
Konami was threatening copyright stuff on Matt and Pat for their "Super Best Friends Watch MGS4" series, so now they've been taken down. What a bunch of jerks. They were JUST about to get to the most ridiculous and stupid cutscene, too!

Xbox is having some sales for the holidays. They're doing some kind of countdown where each day more and more stuff gets discounted.

Re: What makes you pop flyin'?
My mom made some oven-roasted battered oysters and they were pretty daisies good. She also boiled up some shrimp, which were great as well.
Also it looks like we're going to decorate the Christmas tree today, yay

Re: Movies
Yeah, there are authors that write great stories because they want to while also dreaming of success, whereas there are authors who just write novels because they know that the stuff will sell. Tolkien is definitely in the former camp. But back to the actual movie: I think that the scene with the St...
