Cancer is also a disease which has numerous reputable charities dedicated to it. It's not like Livestrong is (or should the case be "was" now?) the only one.

Because the success of the charity was based on Armstrong beating cancer and then going on to, by his own accomplishments, win the Tour De France multiple times. He was considered to be a hero, but in the end he was just cheating like everyone else.

Why should I be mad at the sport? The sport didn't endorse a charity with the fame that it got for winning while secretly cheating.
