Re: Path of Exile
I was just going off of Brekkjern saying that the devs have been pretty tight-lipped about it. That implies that they've been keeping their content a secret. But now that I look at it, their microtransations purely cosmetic. I remember a game I played once where (the sheer majority of) the stuff you...

Re: Path of Exile
I don't have anything against Path of Exile; I haven't played it yet. It's just that I'm afraid of getting into it and then later on it in its life it becomes a grindfest where the cash shop is only way to progress at any decent rate. That's happened to way too many games I've played.

Re: Congress to Reintroduce Bill for Removing Internet Priva
Well as part of the system of checks and balances in the United States government, each section of the legislative branch (House and Senate) has to vote and pass the bill. Then the Supreme Court has to vote on whether or not it's legal. Then the President has to look at it and decide on vetoing or s...

Re: Congress to Reintroduce Bill for Removing Internet Priva
No, they don't. That's why everyone who uses the Internet can't grow complacent. It sucks that there are people out there who think that the Internet is safe after the whole anti-SOPA movement succeeded.

Congress to Reintroduce Bill for Removing Internet Privacy
The United States Congress is attempting to reintroduce a bill called CISPA, or the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act. This is bad because it would give multiple entities such as the US government, private security agencies, and private companies unlimited access to your information AND ...

Re: TOONAMI IS BACK BITCHES
Read about a poll that Aniplex made that's about what anime people would like to see on Toonami. Sailor Neptune Magica made the top. I think Gurren Lagann made third.
That's just... why?

Not with (what looks like) a moe schoolgirl heroine designed to pander to otaku, they aren't.

Re: Path of Exile
I lost interest at "Microtransactions". I would gladly pay cheddar for the game as a whole rather than have to deal with things like (theoretically) gem-finders and XP boosters. Nearly every free-to-play game I've played has just ruined itself by getting too greedy with cash item shops.

Re: Hurrah, A MLP Thread!
What's stupid is that there's one MLP fanfiction called Fallout: Equestria that got a limited hardcover release (I do mean limited, I believe they were made-to-order), and I haven't heard anything about the person/group that published these books getting sued. I mean, using Equestria as the backdrop...

Re: Hurrah, A MLP Thread!
Toys. That's all the justification Hasbro has to give. Also my guess is that the Alicorn thing is going to be something she can activate/deactivate. On other news, I heard that the Fighting is Magic game got a Cease and Desist letter from Hasbro. That sucks, but Hasbro does have the right to do it. ...

Fan-artists work ridiculously fast. I remember seeing quality fanart within an hour or two of the Pokemon X and Y reveal.

Speaking of Chip, he and Snark got to Isla del Monstruo in their latest episode. Also, the way Chip handled the Date With Paz was utterly brilliant. The way he set that video up was nothing short of amazing.

Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
How? Issue 2 had a good bait-and-switch with its cover. Spock is learning about the whole "Great Responsibility" thing and made a decision to dump Mary Jane because it's ALWAYS led to damsel-in-distress trouble with super-villains in the past. If anything, the eventual switch-back to the status-quo ...
