No, it would evolve into the kanji of glorious Nippon.

Re: The Current Events Thread
NASA launched Landsat 8 into orbit. This is pretty cool. The Landsat program is the longest-running satellite-image collection program in the world. It's a joint project between NASA and the US Geological Survey. The Landsat image archive is available to pretty much anybody with a computer. Here's ...

Re: The Cockfighting Society thread
Again, there have been creepier 'mons. Yamask was once a human, for crying out loud. And there's the old standby of Cubone who wears its mom's skull as a mask.

That makes me think: They missed out on creating a Poison type Eeeveelution! Ninfeon, Ninja, it would be pretty cool.Exeres wrote:So English name = Ninfeon?

Re: The Cockfighting Society thread
Well my issue with Ninfia is, like I said farther up, they could have gone with some interesting types, like a Steel or a Ghost Eevee.Prof. Winchester wrote:Why is there always so much hate for new Pokemon
I've never understood that
Imagine an Eeveelution with armor on and a cute little knight helmet. IMAGINE IT.

Re: The Cockfighting Society thread
They could have made a Ghost-type Eevee or a Steel-type one. I would love to see an Eevee with armored plates like some kind of cute knight. The Ghost Eevee would be creepy because it implies that you let it die or it offed itself, but then again there are much more creepy 'mons (Yamask, Cofagrigus,...

Exactly. The cult of personality laid out around Kim Il-Sung is clear enough indication of that.

I knew that, but I didn't think that it would happen so fast.
Although... at what point season-wise did they decide to make the G1 Transformers movie? Or the GI Joe movie, for that matter? Those may have been created at around the same numbered season as this MLP movie is being created.

Re: North Korea's third possible atomic test.
Completely forgot about this country's drones. A squadron of remote-controlled death machines is pretty intimidating, especially when you think about how if you shoot one down, you're not necessarily doing any damage to that nation's war effort. You haven't taken a life or done any psychological dam...

The main battle theme from Lost Odyssey is excellent. It's Nobuo Uematsu, though, so it's not surprising.

Re: Anime
I have just finished watching all current episodes of Inferno Cop.
The intricate plotlines, deep characterizations, and of course animation quality to rival that of Studio Ghibli have truly made this my favorite anime of the year.

Bought the Anti-Materiel Rifle in F:NV to play around with on an older file. This thing just chews up Deathclaws like they're nothing. ED-E + Boone = Headshot. Though I will admit I spent a good ten minutes testing it on humans first. Boy they flew. That thing is utterly amazing. Although my favori...

Re: Things that piss you off
Orson Scott Card was hired on to do some writing for DC Comics. I'm mad because it's Orson Scott Card, but I'm even more angry that they decided to hire a Mormon. You'd think that, by now, employers would elevate their standards to only hiring people with fully-evolved frontal lobes.
