Re: A Thread?! METAL GEAR?!
The only really big grievance I have with the game is the overabundance of recovery items. I don't need nano-repair paste (basically Rations from the previous Metal Gear Games) in nearly every crate, nor do I need a boss fight where there's a constant parade of grunts with healing items. I feel less...

Re: The Halo Section
I am so glad that the majority of players that I play with understand that.

Re: Hurrah, A MLP Thread!
Well, if parents are doing their jobs and not letting their kids stay up late and see beer commercials, they'll just think "Oh hey it's a cool commercial for that show I watch" while the older audience (or the parents who watch it with their kids) will think "Oh hey, it's a reference to those beer c...

Re: A Thread?! METAL GEAR?!
I've beat the prologue and am about to fight Bladewolf. I love the VR Missions and the in-detail Codec calls. Glad they kept in those Codec calls.

Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
Really? I think that the teams behind the new TMNT, Green Lantern TAS, and Transformers Prime make it work. It's tons better than the horrible CGI of Fanboy and Chum-Chum or Planet Sheen.

Re: Anime
The boat ride to Egypt was obviously a reference to the hard journey towards the acceptance of the loss of a loved one.

Re: Favorite YouTube LPers
I think they may have some extreme form of ADD where even something as enjoyable as Yoshi's Island can't hold their focus. On the subject of LPs that I've been going through, The Dark Id's screenshot Let's Play of Resident Evil 2 and 3 is great. Really, The Dark Id is a great LPer in general. His NI...

Re: Favorite YouTube LPers
I never actually watched all their videos for Yoshi's Island. Did Jon actually not know how to advance in that game, or did they just say "screw this" and go off to play something else? Cause I sure as hell know that, given their track record, they never beat it.

Re: Favorite YouTube LPers
One of the more dire examples of both GG's idiocy is that they never checked up on how the copy system in Milky Way Wishes on Kirby Super Star worked and found out about it on accident. And Jon said (if I recall correctly) that it was his favorite game in Kirby Super Star. Jon apparently has a milli...

Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
Other Saturday morning cartoons such as Ben 10 Omniverse and the new version of TMNT are awesome. TMNT is prbably my favorite though for the way that Leonardo and the team interact with each other. I also can't fucking wait for the next season of Transformers Prime. I need to see more of Soundwave b...

The latest episode of Inferno Cop had me in tears. The story of Inferno Cop's grief had me crying all the way through to the end.

Re: A Thread?! METAL GEAR?!
I don't think I'll be able to pull off the stealth very well until I've put in quite a few hours. What I've mainly been focusing on is getting used to the controls and being able to accurately cut things in Blade Mode. I can sneak around just fine in the other Metal Gear games, but Rising is a whole...

Re: General Game Gabbin'
Sorry about that, Madican. I still think Bungie's safety is a valid concern, though. Activision's killed their fair share of studios, and the interview talks about how the Destiny fanchise thing is going to be something like a 10-year-long partnership. A lot can happen in 10 years, and I'm hoping Bu...
