Because they drop so frequently, not many people have keys and they could contain a weapon or something if you're unlucky.

No, it's not just updating, it's downloading the entire game again,from square 1.

It takes 5 hours more or less, unless it's a abnormally huge update or my steam is glitched that's not normal.

For ##### sake, why does TF2 insist on redownloading itself?
